Hello there everyone,
My name is Dawn and I would like to introduce myself.

I'm 5' 2" and weight 360. And am currently 27 years old. I'm currently single never married. And looking into the surgery options.

I have been seeing a dietitian for about a year now and my doctor suggested that I see a weight loss specialist in my area. Which would be the gundersen weight management from lacrosse,wi which I have a appointment with in December.

Here's the schedule on the 16th of December I see the weight loss specialist and the dietitian who specializes in the surgery diets. And then I go to see the seminar in December on the 21. And then I also see my regular dietitian on the 13th that will be my 2nd visit of 6.

Hello Dawn, and welcome to the group. Congrats on taking the first big steps towards achieving a slimmer and healthier you!! As you will learn, there is usually a pretty lengthy process before you can go ahead with the surgery, however, it will all be with it in the end. So just remember to stick with it!! We're all rooting for you

Hi Dawn. Welcome to our group and joining the weight loss surgery group. Any idea what type of surgery you are interested in or are you waiting for the doctor's recommendation? I was lucky that I didn't have to use a dietician, but from what I understand, I am an exception. Hopefully the fact that you have been seeing a dietitian for a year, they will use that for you. I look forward to hearing how your appointments go.
