I’m new here... I’m 57 had my gastric bypass April of 2018... I’ve had my ups and downs with my health ... had high liver enzymes in April of 2019 which led to hospitalization and got down to 98 pounds... it took me almost 6 months to rebound from that.... now as of a month ago I started having severe burning in my stomach... I’ve been on Prilosec for about 10 or more years... it now doesn’t work for me ... I’ve tried Protonix ... Gaviscon , Pepcid AC and now Baking soda with water.... nothing helps... I contacted my doctor and he just says add Pepcid AC but it’s not working... anyone have this happen to them ? I’m at a loss ... thank you

I'm so sorry you are having issues with a burning sensation in your stomach. When you say you contacted your dr, did you reach out to your family dr or your surgeon? I would hope your surgeon would not blow you off like that. If so, I would call back and hound that office until they did something more than tell you to try something you have already used but doesn't work. I have not experienced the pain you are talking about but my hopes are with you that someone on your medical team takes the time to help you figure this out! Keep us updated.
