Hey every one. Im Jen, new here. I don't yet have a date for my surgery but I'm down to my last weightloss appointment and waiting on the sleep study to call me for that and then I'm done with all my pre-OP requirements.
With this covid 19 the sleep place is backed up so that could take a while . I just got my test results back for the H. pylori test, it was positive .. has any one else tested positive? What can I expect after a positive result? My surgeons office hasn't contacted me yet regarding the test results. (I saw them online).

Also, June 19th I started a strict calorie deficit diet, high in protein. I've started walking an hour a day 5 days a week and have lost 15 lbs. I'm hoping to be able to keep this habit after the surgery..my aunt had this surgery (roux en y) and she gained all her weight plus more back. I'd like to avoid doing that.

Welcome!! I preop as well. I haven’t gotten my H. pylori test results yet, EGD was yesterday. My surgeon said it’s just antibiotics if it’s positive. I have my last 2 appointments scheduled, August 21 and Sept 4th, then it’s all off to insurance. Wish my appointments could be in early August, but they’re backed up, so I’m trying to be patient, but anxious to keep going.

I got August 12th for my psych eval (I forgot about that one), and then my last weightloss appt is August 20th. I I haven't even heard back from the sleep study place and they got 2 referrals for me from two diff doctors. I've been told they are swamped and behind so that's the one appointment that is going to hold me back.. I'm hoping I hear from them soon enough to have a late August, early September appointment at the latest..
