Good day everyone, my name is Loretta Brown, I am 51 yrs young as of 08/13/2024. I am the mother of 3 amazing adult children and I have 10 grandchildren. I am a mental health and substance abuse counselor, here in Chicago IL. I decided to have this surgery to improve me health, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am 275 pounds as of today 08/21/2024. I started the liquid diet on the 19th of this month, and my surgery date for gastric bypass surgery is scheduled for 09/10/2024. God's will, I pray my surgery will be successful with no complications going in or out. I am a bit nervous, I just want to heal completely and stay focused and deciplned after the surgery for the remainder of my life. Any suggestions from anyone about the surgery and after care please post them for me. I am a new Comer here and everyone, congratulations on your new life journey as well.
