Hi everyone, Paula here. Just wanted to introduce myself. I don't have a surgery date yet but I'm told it will be in November. I'm having the gastric sleeve and would love to learn from others what to expect. I'm 55 years old I have 3 grown daughters, I love baseball and I live in Massachusetts! Looking forward to interacting and excited to be starting my journey. Thanks!

Welcome! Yeah intros do kind of sounds like that huh? LOL Well, I’m Vicki, 37, mom of an 11 yo boy, and 9 yo boy girl twins. I’m having the gastric bypass hopefully in October (or sooner). Today is my 11th out of 12 appointments and I’ve finished all my testing. I am so ready for this! Glad you found the group!

Hi Paula! I'm 55 too and hope to have surgery in September. I'll be just a little ahead of you in the process so I'll make sure to document things for you (and frankly for me!) I'm 5'5" and 250 right now. I have no idea what my goal weight will be but I suspect I'll lose around 80-100lbs and hope to hold there. No clue about extra skin which seems to be a big concern to a lot of us. Glad you're here for your journey. You'll find a lot of good info and supportive people.
