Hi I'm still in prep phase but very excited to be almost there. I've lost 50 lbs and hit a stall. All this was done on my own but after two years of trying to eat healthy and exercise I've decided to consider weight loss surgery.Welcome! Have you had surgery yet or still in the preparation phase?

Congratulations on your success so far! That’s awesome. Do you have a surgery date yet or an estimate as to when it might be?Hi I'm still in prep phase but very excited to be almost there. I had surgery on June 22nd, so it's been just over 7 months. The key for me is tracking my intake; water and food. I still weigh/measure my food most of the time as my eyes still think a serving is bigger than it is and I have a hard time leaving food on my plate. So at least for a while, that is always where I tell people to start; get a food scale and a tracking app. Congrats on the 50lb weight loss. I found that as long as I focus on getting my protein in, 60-80g, the rest takes care of itself. With the smaller stomach after surgery, you can only eat so much. So by focusing on protein first, you can naturally restrict your calories/intake without too much effort.Thank you. I see that you've made great progress how long has it been since your surgery and what tips can you give me?
So far I’m using WW app to track my meals and movement and that tool has been very helpful and keep me reminded of what I’m eating.
