Hi there! I am new here, and I wanted to stop by and introduce myself. My name is Christine, I am 40 years old, I live in Colorado, and tomorrow I will be 4 weeks post op for my sleeve, and I feel fantastic! I am getting in mile walks almost daily with my dog (weather permitting), and I am more positive, and have more energy than I have had in years. I have already seen a 26 pound loss, and that encourages me a lot! I see my surgeon tomorrow for my first post op visit, and am excited to go. Usually he wants to see people in a week, but my surgery was on the 18th of December, then the holidays came into play, and he was out of town, and then the soonest available was tomorrow. Obviously I had ways to contact him if I needed him/his advice - but everything has been going as well, if not better than I was prepared for.

This was a long talked about decision between my husband, my children (22 and 17), and myself, and I am now certain that I have made one of the BEST decisions of my life.

Okay, that's about all I have for now. :)

Welcome.

There are so many benefits from the surgery.

You have decided to change your life.

It also sounds like you have the full support of your family; fantastic.
