new to the group

hello i am new to the group, i have been following along for a while now and figured i should join since it seems like a very supportive group!

I have my last dietician appointment tomorrow and will then have completed all the necessary requirements for my insurance to approve. my surgery center should then be submitting all the paperwork in the next fews days and then I wait. any one have experience on how long it takes for insurance to approve?
this is the part that has stressed me out the most, just not knowing when this will get approved and when i will actually have a surgery date. i suppose i am not the only one that has felt this way.

i would appreciate any feedback you may have.

Hi Tania, I’m also new to this website, I’m almost 3 mths post op and doing well. The wait is the hardest from start to surgery, it took almost 3 mths for my surgery date. Be patient it will happen.

For me, the post-diet experience was the hard part as I do know how to cook Missy and Diane help me to keep focus...60 ponds off and meds out. I am almost 6 months in, and things are going well, one day at a time.
