The best advice I can think of is follow the guidelines to the letter to the point where you're comfortable with it. Always refer back to the doctors instructions. If there are none or if it's limited express your concerns with us and/or the doctor. This group is a wealth of information and support.

Hi Jessica. This was a big step for all of us, but with support you’ll get through it. Utilize any and all support systems you have. Both now and after surgery. You are going to need them. Pick a support team that you know you can depend on. This is so important. This group is a great support. Everyone here is very helpful.
