Hi everyone. My name is Terri and I have had the sleeve surgery on March 23, 2012. I am doing great. I have lost 29 pounds so far. I have had no complications. I feel pretty good considering I just had major surgery.

Hi Terri Gene, Welcome. Way to go! Let us know how your journey goes. My only problem was it hurt when I laughed so my grand kids were always trying to make me laugh for the first month. LOL!

Hi Terri,

I am new to this website forum I thought it would be a good idea to talk with others about their experiences..I just had the gastric bypass surgery on March 29th one week today! I feel good so far moving around just mild pain in the abdominal area. You have lost alot of weight that is great! Keep it up

Hi Donna. I had my surgery at St. Alexius Brothers Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. My doctors are from the Kane Group. Dr. Rantis is my doctor. Thanks for the hello. I see that you have it listed that you are to ashamed to list your weight.....believe me, we are ALL in the same boat as you and you should not be ashamed of anything at all. I was happy to list my weight and how much I am losing. I don't really care what other people think of me. I refuse to hide and feel ashamed of anything.
