Newbie in the house

Hi newbie in the group I recently had my surgery on 10/01/2019, and I am finding that I have no appetite, has anyone else had this problem. Having an issue with even getting in my protein...........Help what can I do?
I am finding out it sure doesn't take much to make me full. I have learned to stop eating when I start to feel full. Otherwise I feel sick to my stomach. I had my surgery on 10/3/2019. Which type of surgery did you have

Welcome to the group Calmellia! Congrats on your recent surgery. It is definitely a big change, life after surgery. I am 6 weeks out and have just had my first hunger pang. It messes with your mind sometimes, lol. It is hard when you have no appetite but you know you have to eat. There are several ways to help you get your protein. Of course there are the protein shakes, but with your change in taste after surgery, you may have to try out a few to find one you like. I personally like Slim Fast Chocolate or Premier Protein Carmel. I can't do the chocolate in other brands because it just doesn't taste right to me. Same with the Carmel. So you have to test things out to find out what your stomach will allow and what your taste buds say "YUM" to. You can also try protein waters. I had purchased a mixed berry and a mango peach. I was not a big fan personally because to me they were too sweet, but others have thoroughly enjoyed them.

Look through recipe posts and other threads for protein ideas (you can do a search for threads talking about protein). Hopefully you will find some useful information. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
