Hello to all I'm Sandiiid from Ga in the process of getting ready for gastric by pass. I could sure use all of the support I can get. I am planning to start a support group here in my town, the closest one is over 70 miles

Hi Sandiiid and Welcome to the site, it is a great place for support but please remeber to make it to your regular meeting until you can set one up closer, I know it is a long ways but there is nothing like the face to face meeting, and with the price of fuel these days you should be successful at setting one up closer to home.
Do you have a date set up yet or know which surgery you are having. I had the RnY and I am very happy about my choice, but from what I have seen they all work. It has been a wonderful journey for me, I feel great. Let us know how things are going. Tom
