Non-scale victory you have/want to achieve?

This may seem silly, but what I look forward to most is wearing jeans again. I used to live in jeans and did most every day. It isn’t that they don’t make jeans in my size because they do of course. But once I started gaining weight they were no longer comfortable or flattering on me so I stopped wearing them. When you gain weight your jeans tell on you! When you gain weight with leggings, they just stretch a little more ! I have a pair of jeans I bought several years ago that I have always kept ahold of. I have gone through my clothes many times over the years, but could never make myself give that pair of jeans away. I am looking forward to the day I can wear them again. They aren’t even that small as far as size is concerned, but I remember how good I felt when I wore them. It’s a small NSV that I very much look forward to achieving

I had a pair of jeans that I kept too…I’ve given them away now because they were too big! But for a short time they fit and looked fabulous LOL Love those NSV!!

I know what you mean. I fantasize about wearing a sleeveless top. I have not worn anything sleeveless since I was in my 20s (I’m 54 now). Also, I have not tucked in a shirt since my 20s. THAT might never happen, but I’m okay with that. A flat stomach at my age seems unattainable.

My best NSV victories is adding holes to my leather belts. But I have gone from 24 to 20/18. I am rescuing clothes in size 20 and I still need to slim down the closet of hoarded clothes. I sent 3 size 2x skirts with tops and 5 pair of cuddle duds to an online friend at Christmas. She is overjoyed with them. Now for to 50 quart storage tub……full of 24/22 jeans and dress clothes……

I hear you BIG TIME! I can't wait to fly again. I stopped getting on planes in fear of not fitting in the seat or having to embarrassment of asking for a seatbelt extender. I love road trips, but they still limit your travel.

Just went outside to scrape the snow & ice off my pickup truck (yep, I'm a WV girl). I put on a zip-up hoodie jacket, SIZE LARGE!!! 1st size large for me since weight loss surgery, and for many years before. I love NSVs. As good as or better than #s on a scale fer sure.

The NSV are all pretty great. I was over the moon to get to ONEderland. The first time I got to shop in regular sizes I was thrilled. But I think my very favorite is I can sit any way I want to. I can cross my legs, I can put my foot on my chair with me and prop my arm up, I can sit "Indian style" etc
ANY WAY I WANT lol

Non-scale victory for me...I no longer get nervous if I will fit into a booth seat at a restaurant!
This is one that I’ve definitely thought about, always worried before surgery, but not anymore!!

Anne 23, I know this feeling. I just naturally ask for a table. I have for so long I probably will for a while after not needing too. haha Great job!
