One week post op

I’m still a little weak and shaky but happily surprised I don’t feel the need for pain meds. I thought I knew what “sip” meant before the surgery…sike . I’ve been gulping but my stomach is now educating me.

Yes, sip has an entirely new meaning after WLS!! Take things slowly, walking, sipping, sitting everything!! for the next week or so. Your body needs time to heal. Glad you feel well enough that you don't need pain meds.

Just a suggestion, put your water in a shot glass or little dixie cup to help you relearn sipping. Glad you are doing so well. Awesome!

Great on healing. I worry about sipping water...but will do this.
