Pain again!

So I had the normal post op pain, lasted about a week. Went away and I was feeling good.
this last Sunday my abdomen started hurting (mainly the on the right) which radiated to my side and back. Nothing else abnormal aside from Tylenol not helping. I have reached out to my surgeons to see if it’s normal. But holy CRAP it is not fun. Trying to walk feels like a knife is stuck inside me. I heard sometimes this can happen, but also heard it’s not normal so I’m conflicted. Anyone else experience this? I’m suppose to return to
Work in 2 weeks and hope it subsides.

Kinda low to be gall bladder if in abdomen. I could be wrong. My advice call your team they will direct you to the right place.

No gallbladder, it was taken long ago. My surgery was 4 weeks ago. I’m waiting to hear back from my team.

Yea they did, they told me as long as I’m eating/drinking, normal outputs, and no fever, vomiting etc, it’s normal and will last up to 8 weeks. To make sure I’m staying hydrated (which I am!) otherwise Tylenol. & if anything else changes to cal back. I have my 1 month follow up Tuesday over video. So I guess that’s that!

Hope you feel better soon. This darn COVID has make care so bad now days. We are seeing this all the time with the people i work with. This all just makes me so upset. I feel like they do not care about people anymore.

I do not like the Zoom with the DRs at all. I am kind of happy I had a drainage bag after my surgery as then I had to come in. Mind you I did get a call that they would like to set up the Zoom because of COVID. I just said I am going to pay you guys so I can pull out my own bag. Well then she said I guess you will need to keep you appt to come in.

Ditto! We pay a HUGE premium for our healthcare and we deserve quality care, not some silly impersonal Zoom visit. (sigh)

I would rather go in person but it’s 3.5 hours away, and since I’m in the PNW the weather is a guessing game. I am however going to be seeing my regular doctor in person Monday! That’s some relief at least
