Hi Bill, you've got the right attitude. The liquid stage is tough but it'll be over soon. I'm glad the pain went away. Unfortunately feeling weak is normal for a while. Are you getting your water in?Well it’s been 5 days since my gastric bypass surgery and hiatal hernia repair and this morning I got out of the shower weak as heck neck and shoulder pain . Hours later just hungry tired of liquids. Oh well I know it takes time and gets better

I ask because despite drinking enough, I became dehydrated my first week due to diarrhea. I was weak to the point of fainting a couple times. Had to go to the ER for hydration on day 6. So if your weakness feels like it's becoming dangerous, don't hesitate to go to the hospital.Probably not enough.its taking me at least 2-3 hours just to drink I clear protein drink and I get full. Another thing to keep in mind is that my doctor told me the first couple weeks, my job was to stay hydrated. Getting protein in is important but if given the choice of a protein drink filling you up or a couple glasses of water, choose the water for now.
