I received the sleeve surgery Apr 29, 2021. I can’t get rid of the nausea feeling and I’ve been throwing up two days in a row, since I came home. I can’t keep anything down and this nausea feeling will not go away. My nurse keep saying take this and that for nausea but I can’t keep anything down. I’m weak and feeling discouraged. Please give me any advise to help me get past the nausea feeling and the throwing up.

I think it’s time to get into the doctor. Sounds like you need more than what the nurse is suggesting. You don’t want to end up in the ER with dehydration.

Are they telling you to take over the counter meds or prescribing medication? Call them back this morning and ask for a nausea patch. It sticks to the skin on your neck and works for many people. If nothing is working, ask for an emergency appointment.

I will ask about the patch. I am now being admitted today so can get control of what is happening with me. Thank you for the advice.
