Pre op

Welp, I had my pre op today and it sure made things real. No turning back now LOL. I get butterflies in my stomach thinking that in 7 days I will be having surgery.
Tomorrow I have to go to my PCP to get clearance. I think that will be ok (I hope). I don't see any reason they will not clear me. I wish it was with my regular Dr but he is on vacation and tomorrow is the deadline for my clearance. Soooo fingers crossed.
I also had a nicotine urine test. I hope 2 months is enough time to pass. I can't even stand the smell of cigarettes now and am so happy with how healthy I am already becoming.
Should I be concerned with the test??

You shouldn’t be concerned. I’m sure I’ll be a big ball of nerves when I’m as close to surgery as you are. Fingers crossed all goes well tomorrow and the next week flys by!

The final countdown! 2 months is totally enough time to pass the nicotine test. And congrats on quitting smoking, BTW. That is a HUGE deal and hard as hell. You totally got this!!
