Preop Waiting Approval and surgery date

Hi! My name is Denise. I am waiting Approval for surgery and just completing the last needed things for insurance. Hope to have surgery by Mar sometime. Have physiological evaluation next Fri and doing my 3 hours of nutrition the next 3 Friday then can schedule 1 last appt with surgeon and hopefully be scheduled. Does anyone have pointers. The main thing I am worried about is hubby. He says he's supportive but Im afraid he will get frustrated with the foods I eat and he will want everything unhealthy.

Congratulations on starting your journey! I really would say listen to your surgeon and the dietician. Each practice seems to have some variations of when and how to introduce different foods. It's great your hubby wants to be supportive. Some of the biggest changes he will experience with your eating will happen on the 2 week "diet" before surgery but, as you lead up to that part there probably will be some changes there. That's a good time for your body to begin to adjust but also for him too.
