I'm a complete chocoholic by nature. In my opinion there has only ever been one flavor of anything sweet - CHOCOLATE.

1 scoop unflavored protein

Lemon Pound Cake Shake:

Key Lime Pie Protein Shake:

1/2 cup Fat free cottage cheese
1 Scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tbs Lime juice - fresh or bottled
5-10 Ice cubes (Depending on how thick you like it, use less for a thinner consistency)
1/2-1 cup Water (Alter this according to desired consistency)
2-4 pkts Stevia (or 1/4-1 tsp sweetener of choice)
1 tbs SF/FatFree vanilla instant pudding mix

You can add 2-3 drops of green food coloring or 1/2 cup of spinach to give it the green color

*The calories and protein will vary based on the protein powder you use.*

Jenn -

I had the Chocolate Cake Batter shake for breakfast this morning. I like mine thick like a milkshake - so I use a bit more ice in mine. My daughter was in the kitchen when I was making it - when I took the lid off the she said it smelled like cake batter. I love to try new flavors and see what I can come up with.

What phase of post-op are these recipes for?

I used them before surgery and now. It's a great way to get a good bit of protein in one "meal / snack".

Thanks for the yummy recipes! Also, congrats on being halfway to your weight loss goal, woohoo!

Thank you! It's been an interesting adventure so far. I'm looking forward to being on the other side!
