question

i looked up symptoms of b12 deficiency and alot of what is going on with me is on the list. so now how much b12 is too much or to little
I have no idea on the thresholds for the B12 vitamin. I will say that prior to surgery, I was taking 5000 mcg. Since surgery, my dr told me I didn't need that much daily and now I do the once a week nasal spray. If you are wanting to test your theory, you could try starting with 2500 mcg sublingual tablets and see if that helps. If you notice some improvement but think it could still be better, double up. Of course, you should run all this by your dr to make sure you aren't going to do any harm to yourself ;)

My doctor is sending me for blood work up. And the b12 is in it so she said the faster i get it done the faster we figure it out.

The Yiddish joke goes:

Yakov: Oy, I have such a bad cold and my arthritis!
Jakob: Have some chicken soup!
Yakov: It wouldn't help.
Jakob: It wouldn't hurt!

paraphrased from the writings of Leo Rosten

Of course diane. You always give good advice just like everyone is with this. I doubled my normal b12 and it is getting somewhat better but still took another pretty bad fall today. So i may try to up it a little more.
