My name is Shirley, I had my Duodenal Switch done 8 years ago, lost my weight and am very happy with the new me. Recently I am having problems with digestion, lots of gross flatulence, abdominal pain, any one out there that can help me out. The surgery is no longer done in my City, and surgeon has retired, not feeling like I have a support group

I really dont know anything about the Duodenal Switch however with pain and a change in your digestion, and your doctor being retired, maybe you should go to the emergency room. If something has changed in your intestine then that might be life threatening. I think its too important to take a chance with in my opinion. Good Luck!
