Hi all, new here. I’m 11 mths out from the sleeve. I have reflex, I’m taking omeprazole. Lately I haven’t been sleeping due to acid reflex. This med doesn’t seem to be helping anymore. Anyone have this issue and can share some remedies with me. This is not something I had before the sleeve.

Hi welcome to the group. I hate the acid reflux. That is why I choose the bypass. It helps with the reflux. Have you told you doctor about the acid reflux yet. Let them know that what you are taking does not work. It is scary to have acid reflux and sleep. I wake up at times already in the process of throwing up acid. I hate it. I have not had surgery yet so I don't know what you can do for it post op. I just wanted you to know you was not alone on here

I keep pushing through everything. But it has gotten a little more easier having people to talk to. My husband is supportive but he will not understand what I am going through completely.
