Hi all! I'm Maria from Ohio. I had my surgery on 4/8/24, no complications, just the oddball side effects that some have experienced. I did alot of research prior to moving forward with my sleeve journey so I was fairly prepared. I did workout prior to approval and throughout and I feel like my body has truly 'reset'. I wasn't always overweight, in fact very active, school athlete, military veteran as well.
I was ashamed to even THINK about the surgery at first, but it was the best decision I've ever made. Having this surgery has given me a second chance to be healthy again.
