I am three weeks post op. Yesterday afternoon I experienced vomiting for the first time since surgery. I haven't been able to keep anything down since. I just called my surgeon's office and told the receptionist. She sent a note to the nurse and said the nurse would be in contact with the surgeon (he's in surgery now) and she'd call me back later. Are there any ideas of what is going on?

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems Roy. Unfortunately I am not far enough out to know what it could be. Hopefully the nurse will get back to you quickly with a recommendation on how to combat it. Hang in there and keep us updated!

I started taking my supplements this past week and the multivitamin horse pill makes me nauseous every time. Sometimes it stays down, other times....
It's going to be hard to be healthy if I can't handle the vitamins. Metformin and Bupropion go down just fine. Now because of so many days of getting ill, the vitamin smell alone is making my stomach turn which does not bode well for the future. I think i'll try it will different foods, maybe something will help it stay down.

You should try the multivitamins that Brenda recommended. I take them also and have had no issues with them. We get them from Amazon and they taste a bit like fruity tums, not bad at all.

I'm home and feeling better. And that last pot of mine should have said gall stones. not all stones.
Glad to hear you're feeling better Roy! They didn't take your gallbladder with your surgery? I though that was the norm these days. If not, I know gallbladder attacks are brutal! I had to have emergency surgery to have mine removed last summer (months before my RNY).

Are they scheduling you for surgery to have it removed? Better sooner than later, you don't want to have to have another bad episode. Good luck!!!

The dreaded gallstones. UGH!
I had my gallbladder out years ago but I will not forget how bad I felt when I had the attack.
I hope they can take of this soon for you but I'm sure they probably want you to wait at least 6 weeks.
Hopefully, no attacks for you between now and the surgery.
