Silly question - support socks post surgery

What is the situation with support hose after the loss of weight? If you wore them before surgery did the weight loss eliminate the need for the support hose? I just hate these things! Thanks

The surgery does not cure varicose/spider veins. Although there is certainly less pressure on your legs due to the weight loss. I actually went ahead and had the veins taken care of after I had the WLS. I figured I was at my out of pocket max with insurance, I may as well get everything taken care of I could before years end.

Compression socks or pantyhose that give circulation support to your legs due to varicose veins.
