Hi Gwen and welcome. I'm only 6 months out from RNY so I've never been told about "starvation mode". Will you explain? How close were you to your goal weight when you were told about this? Did you reach goal? Surpass it? Have you regained and that's why you want to jumpstart weight loss again? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to get a better understanding of your situation.
