Sugars and Ruby Reds

Hi all,

Last week I had my first visit at the clinic to do my surgery. My insurance was approved,. The dietitian told me no sugars, coffee, breads, rice etc.

Well I was looking at the ruby reds label and it is only 3 g sugar! Have any of you tried this and is 3 g still too much?

I'm very nervous but excited. I am in 5 days of a sugar detox now. I want to be ready to run with this thing. The biggie is no coffee....! I've been drinking it for over 40 years.

kmw-Welcome to the forum. If someone on this forum tells you it's OK that 3 grams of sugar is OK then you will have to make a choice. If you call your nutritionist and ask the same question you will know for sure if 3 grams of sugar is OK. While you're at it ask your nutritionist if you can have decaf coffee :) :) :)

Thanks for the greeting. I'll call the dietician. And yes, decaf is OK! I've already cut back.
