Surgery scheduled 12/18/25

Hello everyone,
My surgery is scheduled for December 18th, and I am very nervous. I read a lot of people who have had complications and are negative.
Would someone give me positive vibes for my surgery.

Also, is it normal to be scared? I also heard someone talking about a drain in the stomach??

Hey welcome! There's going to be some issues or complications for many people but it seems they are all pretty easily managed. If you think you're really committed to this that nervousness will turn into excitement eventually. The surgery will come and go in no time and you'll be grateful.

As for the drain, i remember talking to my doctor about them, he said they aren't used too much anymore, and when they are they are usually out in 2 days and are no bid deal. Thats about all i got for ya. But Good luck! you'll be happy about it all soon
