Ultrasound and CT after surgery

Good morning! Has anyone had a CT or ultrasound done after surgery? My surgery is June 14 (butterflies are settling in) and I have an ultrasound of my liver scheduled for June 27th for an ongoing autoimmune issue. Also my nephrologist wants to do a CT scan as soon as possible after the surgery for another issue. Anyone had these tests done this close? I have been cleared by all doctors for surgery. I do intend to ask my surgeon about it but just curious if anyone else has had this experience. Thanks!

I have not. I can’t imagine the CT being an issue. The ultrasound might hurt a little as they’ll be doing it in an area that might be sensitive. But maybe not. The liver ultrasound area could be high enough that it won’t cause any soreness.

Best to ask bariatric team they would be best source of information. Since it will be after the bariatric surgery.

Im having a CT scan for my liver too in Aug after July 12th surgery for a spot on my liver. We'll see what happens. When are you having yours?

I had an ultrasound done around 6-7 weeks after surgery. It was fine, no issues and didn't hurt.
