Vomiting

I had surgery on Oct 7th, 2014. I vomit about 3 times per day, has anyone else had this problem?

WELCOME to the Forum!!!

I vomited on occasion when I ate too fast or if I ate bread which didn't agree with me for a year after surgery.

You might try calling your surgeon's office and let them know about the vomiting.

Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

Hi, thank you for your response. I am not eating bread, I am vomiting anything from jello to cottage cheese. I went to the doctor on Thursday and they did a swallow test on me and said everything looked fine. He said I should just be patient and in time it should go away. It just sucks the energy out of me and I am tired. Any suggestions?

Try eating less at a time. If you are eating 2 tablespoons of food then eat only 1. Try eating less food more often. My tummy originally held 2 oz. after surgery. If yours hold 2 oz and you eat 3 oz then you will throw up. It's worth a try.
