More important in the first 2 mos then worrying about food calories and protein is maintain hydration. Make sure you drink minimum of 16 oz a day in first few mos. and work up to 24 and 36 and so forth

It should work itself out. Be sure to drink your fluids and activity will help too so walk as much as possible. (I still find that jogging/walking loosens things up for me)

Cream of wheat was good for me with added strawberry protein powder (some are concerned about carbs but in a 2 oz portion carbs is not a real concern or wasn't for me)
