how long are plateaus.

i was just wondering how much are you able to eat at this point?
It kind of depends on what I'm eating. I made some cauliflower "rice" and some stir fry veggies the other night with some tofu. I had 1/2cup of "rice" and 1/2 cup of veggies, but I know that it was probably 1/2 cup of actual volume after I chewed it all down. It wasn't a very high protein meal so I supplemented with a protein drink earlier in the day.

3 oz of meat with very little else will fill me up very well.

We had these zucchini "boats" filled with ground beef (impossible burger actually) brown rice, refried beans, roasted corn, topped with fresh tomato and avocado, and a little sour cream crema. I ate about 3/4 of a cup, and that was probably about a spoonful too much.

So, I guess the answer is, for meals I eat between 1/2-3/4 C volume of food. My total daily calories including two snacks range from 800-1000 each day.

Sometimes I feel like I'm able to eat more than I should be, and I feel that I expected more of a restrictive feeling, but as I track my food I realize if I hadn't had the surgery I'd be totally starving each day on 800-1000 calories. And I definitely know when I've had one too many bites, so I'm getting pretty good and estimating the serving size of whatever food I'm making. My dietician said I'm in a good place, so I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing and tracking everything I do. :)

where do you find the ultra filtered milk at?
I actually get it at Aldi. They now carry the FairLife Ultra-Filtered Milk. Most grocery stores carry it as well. It's Lactose Free 2%. It has 120 Calories, 13g of Protein and 6 Carbs. It's more expensive than regular milk (about $3.50 a half gallon) BUT I always bought the lactose free anyway, which is only about $.25 cheaper for a half gallon. Plus it give me an extra boost of protein for my morning latte!
