We took a mini vacation to Pennsylvania Dutch Country and I'm afraid to get on the scale!
Ok, just did and I am up 3 lbs.
Could have been worse as I haven't been eating well. So I know what I have to do to get myself back on track. It is so easy to slip out of good habits and slide back into old.
Anyway, we had a good time. Went to the very historic town of Strasburg. My husband is a railroad buff and that is an old railroad town. They had refurbished an old steam train and had excursions - with wine and cheese! Yes, I did have some wine and did get a little buzzed. While I have had wine in the past post-surgery, this was probably more than I had before in a short period of time. We also took an Amish buggy ride and visited a farm. That was so easy for me being 130 lbs lighter. Before I would have had a hard time or maybe not even been able to climb into the buggy!
So I hope all has been well here in our support group family. I will be catching up later today on the posts.
