I'm Pia and I had gastric bypass surgery on 7/29/21. To date I've lost 85 lbs with a lot more to go. My problem is that nothing tastes right to me, or at least foods that I used to like don't taste good to me any more. I seek to always have a somewhat sour taste in my mouth and when I eat, food doesn't taste right. I spoke with a nurse in my surgeons office this morning and she said she's never heard of that but I'm seeing my surgeon this coming Friday and I plan to mention it to him as well, but has anyone else experienced this?

Have you had Covid? Apparently that leaves a taste in your mouth. I’m nearly 3 years out and I can pretty much take or leave food now. There’s not much I really enjoy and I have good days and bad days.
