Mini face lift on Thursday

Thursday is the big day for my mini face lift! I have to admit I'm nervous. No anesthesia! I took a couple of before pics. One of me smiling the other with my face relaxed. I am not frowning! This is why I want the surgery, because when I am sitting with my face relaxed, people always ask me what's the matter. Gravity is pulling the extra skin into a frown. I don't like looking so unhappy all the time!

Hopefully I'll have some nice after photos to post soon!

I'm excited, but nervous too. Considered canceling several times. If I didn't look so angry all the time I think I'd hold off. At the start of this whole process I was really wrinkle and extra skin phobic. Not so much now. Not even thinking about evening out the boobs at this point anymore. If I have to walk around with a walker who cares if I'm lopsided?
 
We have all gone through some extreme changes with our WLS. I say do whatever makes you feel good/great/sexy as fuck or however you feel.

I’ve got wiggly bits - giggly bits - no tit bits - wrinkly knees. I told my husband I was going to do the entire body lift surgery. He actually asked me why - I just dropped my pants and took off my shirt and I said well - because of this - pointing to where my tits used to be - pointed to my wiggly bits - giggly bits - wrinkled knees. My husband just looked at me and said “all I see is the girl I’ve loved all my adult life - the beautiful mother to my children - the sexy Mimi of my soon to be here grand baby.” I totally lost it! I truly can’t imagine going through life with anyone else. He gave me a kiss and said “ you’re crying so that means I did good”. I said fuck good babes you did PERFECT. He did ruin the moment when he asked me to repeat it so he could record for future use…..

But I do love that man of mine!!!

Tracey you always crack me up and the love between you and your hubby melts my heart! You make my day girlfriend!
 
Well surgery went well. Unfortunately I was having trouble sleeping last night and didn't want to keep my husband awake. When I was finally getting ready for bed I used the hall bathroom (which unfortunately isn't big enough for my walker). No sooner do I enter the bathroom and the next the I know my ribs are colliding with the side of the tub. Another syncopal event. I spent most of the day at urgent care to learn I broke another rib! Two rib in less than six months!

I am so sorry! Now you have to heal in two places. You have my sympathy.
 
Me too. Rib hurts a lot more than my face! The worst part of the surgery was the shots for local anesthesia. The surgery itself was no problem. I got to talk to doctor throughout the whole thing. I'm not posting the after pictures until I'm completely healed, so you can see the final results! I will say that I am very pleased and would be jumping for joy if my rib wasn't fractured!
