Just joined and reaching out for support. Decided today to try the 5 day pouch test as I had surgery in 2010 and have put on about 60 lbs. Lost paperwork, but does anyone know if you can have coffee during the 5 day pouch test?

Yes, but it needs to be limited caffeine. I usually limit myself 2 cups of caffine a day

thanks, I thought it was just tea. I am already craving food. the info on Kaye Bailey's site said protein source should have no more that 5 grams of carbs. the lowest protein powder I have on hand has 7 grams(Body Fortress) It's easy for me to get caught up in a precise numbers game which exhausts me!
