I'm not even getting 1200 calories in,I'm lacking a lot and 15 grams of sugar and only 32 carbs I don't get it something is wrong
There are some drinks that help with calories and low or sugar free. The protein shakes included. I didn't get that much in either and I felt like I was depriving myself. Somethings gotta give.I'm not even getting 1200 calories in,I'm lacking a lot and 15 grams of sugar and only 32 carbs I don't get it something is wrong
I'm stuck, too. I need to lose a total of 26 lbs in 6 months to be considered for WLS. I lost 11 lbs right a way, but now I only lost 1 lb in the past 3 weeks. My next appointment is in 2 weeks and I have nothing to show for it. I'm also at the point where I'm hungry all the time so I haven't followed my diet as well. I think I need to look at what I'm eating to make it healthier. Maybe then I won't be so hungry and I'll start losing weight again?
If you eat something every two hours it kicks your metabolism up. I don't mean eat full meals. Like in between meals eat a small handful of almonds, or a cheese stick. I love cottage cheese personally it's low in carbs and calories high in protein per serving.

thanks ya I eat low fat cottage cheese I love it,so that's prolly my problem I don't eat enough, like all I've had today is my shakes and water and half of a chicken pot pie,If you eat something every two hours it kicks your metabolism up. omg that's what's going on then, like all day today I've had 2 shakes 64 oz water and half of chicken pot pie.Remember that you haven't actually had the surgery yet, so not getting in enough of everything will kick your body into 'starvation mode' and it will hold on to everything you put in your mouth and try to store it as fat, exactly what you don't want...Try to replace some of the junk with protein shakes or bars, keep up with water, even flavored or vitamin water is better than too many sugars in sweet tea or creamed up coffee. However, there is protein tea and protein coffee now so that might be an option? I agree with Lori, small meals throughout the day, not full meals but small, healthy, protein packed meals or even just the shakes and you'll start to lose the weight. You can do this!

more protein won't bother me,I'm only getting like maybe 600 to 800 calories a dayRemember that you haven't actually had the surgery yet, so not getting in enough of everything will kick your body into 'starvation mode' and it will hold on to everything you put in your mouth and try to store it as fat, exactly what you don't want...Try to replace some of the junk with protein shakes or bars, keep up with water, even flavored or vitamin water is better than too many sugars in sweet tea or creamed up coffee. Well, I stopped sulking and started walking more and eating healthier. I'm not sure if I believe my scale yet because it varies so much, but the numbers are definitely starting to go down again! At this point in my adventure, I need to diligently record everything that I eat. And it's so easy to do that now with all the great apps available. Anyone remember the days of paperback calorie counters?!?Woot woot!!!

Exercise is important, next time you go grocery shopping park at the furthest parking stall, walk to the store, make a couple extra laps around the store and when you are done and you take your stuff back to the car, then walk your cart back to store, not to the cart stall, just one way of getting extra steps in good luckI will just seem to have stalled out .I am trying to get restarted writing down menues reducing intake see psych on a regular bases wanting to work in exercise just seem to be to busy with work ,and taking family and self to appointments
