Help and suggestions with weight gain

I find myself once again in the weight loss struggle of my life. I had Gastric bypass in 1999, I was at 275 and went to 115. Doctor said 115 was not where I needed to be to be healthy and to begin eating more normal. 20 years later I am now at 215. Weight loss journey and all the hard work pretty much over. I am starting over again.
I have tried WW, and now the Keto diet with moderate everyday exercise of swimming, biking, walking, and nothing works. I keep gaining.
Please, if there is anyone out there who has had this struggle and beat it or is beating it, please let me know what to do. Do I stay on a diet or is there a special diet I need to follow.

Which procedure did you have? What has been happening in that 20-year gap? Have you been seeing your surgeon annually?

There are a number of people here who have had a significant weight gain after surgery. I would just love it if people who gained would actually keep food diaries and tell us how did you do it? It is really hard to overeat after you have bariatric surgery.

If you reread the posts in various forms, you will find a lot of members who have had this problem. You can send a private message to anyone whose story resonates with you. If that member hasn't been online or active in the group she or he may still feel comfortable one-on-one with you.

I'm in a quandary since I can't conceive of how you did this. Because you said you also went to Weight Watchers and tried other diets and nothing worked in the last 20 years. Bariatric surgery means never having to go to Weight Watchers again. And you must have been given a diet of some sort when you had the surgery. If you will look below in the resources section of this support group, you will find one article that details post-op diet.

But here is the most important thing. You cannot consume fewer calories and increase your activities and not lose weight. It is one of the hallmarks of an eating disorder that we are not honest with ourselves about what we eat, how much we eat, when we eat it and what exercise we don't do. So the first step once you have a diet in your hand would be to make sure you write everything down that you eat or drink and that you write down every single activity you engage in which you do for exercise.

Lastly, are you considering having a revision or different or new bariatric procedure?
