I have fought my weight my whole life, and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a few years ago. I also have psoriatic arthritis so I am planning this surgery for multiple health reasons. I know it will help them all!

Hi Annie- I have seen a big improvement in my arthritis in 2 months post op. I'm wondering if it has more to do with the diet vs the weight loss. Nonetheless, I'm thrilled!

Lol I'm trying to mentally prepare myself and my fam for how different life is going to be. I have 2 pre-op appointments, the first one is Monday so I hope I'll learn more then. I've heard some recommend liquid diet for 4 -6 weeks, some only 2 weeks so I'm anxious to see what my Dr recommends
