tight stomach

Feeling good but when I stand up it’s takes me a minute to really stand up straight and my stomach feels tight. Is that something anyone else has felt?

Every single time. My surgery was on the 30th and I am currently using a recliner that stands you up from your seated position for you because of the soreness. My stomach is still very tight.

Thanks so much for that. I slept on a recliner for a few days because it was comfortable and easy for me to get up. I’ve upgraded to the couch because I feel like a turtle on my back in the bed. I’m happy to know I’m not alone. I had my surgery the 30th as well.

Do you have tenderness when coughing to sneezing ... right now I still hold a pillow and it’s sort of painful to cough. Are you experiencing anything like this ?

I do still have pain when I sneeze cough hiccup and when I have to belch or when i have to get up. I actually hurt myself today by getting stuck in the wrong position while trying to get up. I however had the single anastomosis duodenal switch and a hiatal hernia repair. The surgery was pretty rough on me so I'm out of work for 6 weeks.
