Depressed

Hi all, hoping everyone here is doing well, & in good spirits. I, on the other hand, am starting to feel depressed. I thought I would be losing lbs, not gaining. Which is what has me feeling down. I can't understand WHY, I've gained 1lb. From 234 to 235! I get on my stationary bike for 30 min in the mornings & drink my 6oz of protein shake. I'm also doing squats, as I hear alot of women say that their butt has lost its shape. My Nutritionist has me on a menu of: cottage cheese, canned fruit in water, greek yogurt, applesauce, sugar free popsicles, & of course, my protein shake. I'm trying to stabilize a schedule where I can make sure I have my 64 or more oz of liquids, plus eat something. I'm feeling Frustrated too. I wish I could find an easier way to my liquids, my intake of the so called Food, & for my vitamins too. Hope to hear from Someone.

I can see your frustration but ( I am no expert) I am wondering if the 30 minutes on the bike is too much. Maybe your body is trying to hang on thinking you are starving?? Have you ever watched any of Dr.V's videos on Youtube? Duc Vuong I think is his name. He has a good one on exercising after surgery.
Now I do believe in exercising but I feel like it is ok to wait a bit before starting. I have been tempted to get on my stationary bike too but I have not done it yet.
I am only 17 days out but I have not started exercising other than just walking around the house( too hot in La. to walk outside). Now I have only lost 5lbs. but I know I have fluid because my bras are so tight and they were not tight when I was 20lbs. heavier. I lost 15lbs before surgery.
I am also finding the schedule for food, water and vitamins difficult to follow but I do see that daily I am getting better on the water.
Good luck and I know it will happen for you.
