Hair loss

Can anyone tell me how to stop the hair loss problem? I am 4 months post-OP and take bariatric vitamins and take in 70+ grams of protein a day.

Hi and welcome. I lost a lot of hair between 3-6 months but then it stopped. I was fortunate that only I noticed it thinning a little. At about 8 months, my hair stylist noticed a lot of hair regrowth happening and pointed it out to me. She asked if I was on any special vitamins because she said she's only seen this in her clients after pregnancy. She did not know I had surgery.

I wasn't taking anything additional, just my bariatric vitamins. So I was thrilled to actually see it coming back in. So there is a chance it will come back for you too. I know that's not the case for everyone but I'm living proof that it happens. :)

My hair was already thinning do to menopause. I have noticed more hair in my comb as of late. I’m taking my Bariatric vitamins, but have add Biotin also. I wear my hair cut really closes anyways so it shouldn’t be to noticeable. If it does, I love wigs.
Uses to wear all of time in my younger days.

I did not have much hair loss with my sleeve, but I had my conversion to bypass in Aug 2019, and I am full into hair loss right now. Started about 6 weeks ago. Thankfully i have fairly thick hair, and a lot of it. No one notices but me. I got my hair done on Saturday, and my hair girl was able to tell it is thinner than normal, but only because she knows my hair so well. The one area I notice most is the hairline by my part... but new growth is already coming in, so I am confident it will be back to normal soon.
