I am finally under the 200 mark!!! Wahoo!!! I'm in the 100 club! I can't remember the last time I was. Such a good feeling.
I think I'm getting the hang of eating which is good. I had refried beans with some cheese and red hot and it was delicious! LOL
I still have yet to feel the im full sensation but my that's a sign im doing it right.
I have had the worst dry mouth tho. Anyone else?

Excellent! How exciting! I've been doing purees as well, and I too generally don't feel "full." But after eating, when I let things settle, I also don't feel hungry most of the time. I think our bodies need to learn the difference between "full" and "stuffed." Before surgery, I would eat until I could really feel like I've had enough, and that was obviously more food than I needed. Now, I'm trying to concentrate very closely on how I feel after eating 2 or 3 oz of food. Even if I feel like I could eat some more at the moment, I stop for at least 30 minutes before deciding to get more food. Usually, I don't feel the need to have more. Sometimes, I feel like having a bit more, and it's okay. Once I did definitely have more than could comfortably fit in my stomach and I could tell. It wasn't horribly painful, but there was definite discomfort. Generally, though, I never feel overly hungry or full, and I'm learning to live with that feeling and it's just fine. It's much better than constantly thinking about food like I used to.

Congrats on getting to onederland!!

I've been spanning out my meals to last 1 1.5 hours bc I don't want to over eat but I know that's probably not a good idea right ?

I can't say that there is any harm to that, but I don't know that it's necessary. Remember that purees at this stage really aren't replacements for meals, you can approach them that way, but it's really just new food consistency to continue healingl and get prepared for the soft foods, which are a little more like meals. I usually take about 20 min to eat a puree, but sometimes it doesn't take quite that long. Soft foods will require chewing for 15-20 seconds, so it's a little easier to take longer to eat those and whole foods slowly. Purees sort of slide down without much chewing. You probably don't need to worry too much about overeating at this point. You'll know it if you do. I've had an uncomfortable feeling once, so that was my warning shot and I know that I'm not going to eat more than 3oz right now. Those purees are going to move pretty quickly out of your stomach and you'll get a little hungry again. It's okay to have some more. Track what your eating and drinking during the day and you'll find that the purees don't add too much. I generally consume between 750-1000 calories per day, other people consume only 300-600, depending on what they are eating. My puree lunch today, which was whipped cauliflower with a tiki masala sauce on top was a scant 59 calories, but it was filling at tasty. My resting metabolic rate is about 2500 calories per day, add on exercise and being active, and I've got a pretty sizable calorie deficit. Logging food helps. The Baritastic App is a very good one and easy to use. As I look back on what I wrote I'm kind of all over the place. Sorry.

Congratulations On your weight achievement of so many more to come. I’m on day 6 post surgery. I’m still with pain but I had two major surgeries so it’s understandable. My umbilical hernia repair and gastric bypass but can’t wait to hit the ones too.
