Here is my story. I am 60 yrs old and have been overweight since I was 12 yrs old. I am a 14 yr breast cancer survivor and I had RNY surgery 8/24/2010. I started out slow with the weight loss but my medical problems are much more under control. This was the best decision that I have ever made in my life. I am now down 75 lbs and I am still alive in spite of my medical ailments. If I did not elect this surgery I'm not so sure that I would be here to talk about my weight loss journey.
