First, let me say I am NOT PREGNANT....however, every morning when I wake up I am getting sick after the first drink of anything. My Dr. suggested hot tea 1st thing to calm my pouch but it is not working. I just need to know if this has happened to anyone else?

I am going to be as nice about this as I possibly can. But please do not flatter yourself. Like I said, I will walk my journey and you can stay on your own path. I will do what is right for ME, and if I want a diet root beer I will allow the carbonation to escape first and then I will drink it.

I don't feel like I am setting myself up for failure. I own the journey I am on and you own yours. Blanket statements like that do not belong in support groups. IMO.

Hi Hilda, I too had my surgery in Carmel, IN. Congrats on your weight loss.

They sent me home with a stretchy white band that velcros. I'm 9 days out and I still wear it. The discomfort will pass in time, just make sure you take your pain meds on time. Promise it helps.

Any follow up on this? Just curious? I have not found a protein powder or shake that does not make me nausus(sp?).

I am 8 days out of surgery and have lost almost 21lbs. I know a lot of that was probably water, but it's leading me to ask...Is this normal?
