I know what helped with the sweet craving in all my past diets was to have a HUGE bowl of already washed, peeled, cut up mixed fruit so I could just go in and scoop some out. sometimes I would sprinkle a little sea salt on them to get rid of the salty craving too. Diverting tastebuds worked for...
They are shaker cups that have this little metal ball inside that looks sorta like a whisk so when you shake up your protein it whips the clumps out and gets it all good and mixed up. I got mine at walmart but most health places like GNC have them
I would say and a wake up but I have to be at the hospital at 4:30 and the hospital is an hour away. I doubt I will be sleeping. I might just spend that time ogling my son while he sleeps.
I started on the 27th as well. The first 3-4 days I too only lost a pound or two and I was keeping all the fluids but then it was like the flood wall burst and I started releasing all of the fluids. on day 5 I weighed in and lost 15 pounds. Day 6 all the fluid retained in my calves and ankles...
I have perfected my mint chocolate chip shake. Its chocolate pure protein with a half cap of peppermint extract. It is so yummy. I experiment around with my vanilla. I have a bunch of different sf liquid addins. My favorite is strawberry watermelon in the vanilla
I have been MIA the last week well because it is hard as heck to get on my laptop with a 9 month old around. He is perfectly content playing but as soon as my laptop comes out he thinks he has a new toy! Anyhoo. I started my liquid diet last Wednesday and I have had a couple of oppses...
Its not an exact science especially with women because our water weight fluctuates too much. I hate protein bars because honestly most of them are an over glorified candy bar. There is a pin on pintrest that has all these great ideas to pre-pack on the go snack packs and keep them all in one...
You might hear back sooner than that. I was told 3-4 weeks for approval and I just got an overwhelming nagging feeling to call a week later for an update and the patient coordinator said you were approved and I am ready to schedule you for surgery. I was on her list to call that day!
Don't feel pressured into buying anything. That is over the moon expensive. My doctor carries isopure and vitamins but that is more out of a convince thing for patients but they don't try to push anything.
Yay!!! I know the feeling with telling people I haven't come right out and announced HEY IM HAVING VGS!!! but I haven't been quiet about it either. Everyone at work is either supportive or keeping quiet and not making any negative comments...at least to my face.
yes yes yes that is the same reason I am not facebook official too. Even though everything is scheduled and I start the liquid diet next Wednesday I still feel like something could go wrong and I would have to "take it back"
OMG yes I am over the moon excited but yet scared as all get out. A friend of mine said that her C-section was way worse of a recovery then her sleeve. That makes me calm down a bit because my C-section recovery was a breeze
I knew the date but I had to call everyone and their mom to find out the time which is 6:30a and I have to be there at 4:30a which means leaving at 3am and getting up at 2-2:30a. Fun times!!
