2 Surgeries and 1 FULL life!

Greetings! I am Connie from Pittsburgh. I was part of the FDA approval study for the band many moons ago but had that converted to the RNY in August 2009. I am not skinny but I have a net loss that is substantial in my eyes and mostly I'm content.

Recently my life turned topsy turvy (we lost our house and other minor stressers) but I only gained 4 pounds last year. 4. Not 400 or 40... just 4. It's a win.

Now I am renewing my efforts to use this tool correctly and make my body happier. I need hip surgery soon and need to shed some of these pounds.

Nice to meet you all and can't wait to journey forward!

Hi kindafunny, you are doing great. you didn't put the weight on overnight, so you won't lose it overnight. You will find great support here. Do you have any local support where you are?
