So terrible is the land of nausea! I have been living in it since June

I can tell you that I am very restricted in my diet still, and so many foods cause sickness.

But, on the bright side, it doesn't last forever. It really is just a body adjustment thing, and kind of how ticked off your tummy still is at you for allowing someone to hack away at it when it was perfectly happy the way it was.

Anyway, as you make your advance, which is really at the same time I'm making mine finally

I have found that adding a little extra coating of something to the more solid foods has been super helpful. Like, I add extra green sauce and sort of smother the grilled chicken or I add guacamole to chicken to help. I've gotten into the habit of slicing and dicing everything to bite size to force myself to eat small bites and to chew ...forever on them.

Also, I still can't eat eggs, hamburger meat, tuna, pork, or sausage and I'm close to 4 months out. My surgeon has said it is perfectly normal at this stage, just to wait a few weeks and try again. It seems like relearning how to eat and getting on the same page with my new tummy is an uphill battle but it will be worth it long term!

I hope things improve for you soon!
