5 days post op

Hi There!
I’m 5 days post op with a sleeve. Surgery went well but I’m starting to regret having the surgery. All I think about is trying to get in my water and protein shakes (not able to hit the protein yet). I’m sure it gets better but this funk is horrible!
Hey! I’m 6 days post opI’m 22 female based in SI,NY
quick backstory
I had the gastric sleeve at 2017 starting weight 297 lbs
In 2020 I had the gastric bypass starting weight 278 lbs
Recently I had the Trans Oral Outlet a reduction (Tores) July 21,2022 starting weight 236lbs.

it’s a struggle, I just want to gulp my water and I can’t. I’ve lost and gained throughout my whole process. I’m not a new bee, but if I’m going to be honest the struggle never stops, you kind of just adapt. I haven’t been able to get a full protein shake down at all. I find them so gross.

Just do the best you can. In the beginning, its hard to get all your water and protein. And its frustrating to be fatigued due to lack of calories. And who doesn't miss actual FOOD while your stuck on liquids for what feels like forever. It really is worth all.the hard work once you start losing and feeling the difference. Hang in there!
